Blue Impact (Prototype)

Prototype of a 2D beat'em up game. Made in Unity between October 2021 and January 2022 for the videogame course at Lusofona University of Porto.

Overview:
The game focus on a young woman called ‘Aoi’ who is trying to get money to pay for college. On her way home, she passes by a construction site and always deals with catcalling from the workers there. One day, she decides to assume an alter-ego, ‘Azura’, to deal with her catcallers face-to-face once and for all.

Inspired by beat’em up classics, the player will have to punch and kick their way to the top of the construction site. Every time you clear a floor of enemies, you get to choose a power-up to enhance your abilities. If your health is depleted, you’ll lose all your power-ups and will have to start the game from the beginning.
